Better Late Than Never

We headed to Idaho on Friday for Aaron & Lauren's Open House. We didn't actually make it until; the chairs were being taken down, the caterer's job was done, the flowers had begun wilting, the great grandparents that Maddy has never met had left, and the bride had let her hair down. We left at 3:30 and what would have be a 3 1/2 hour drive turned into 5 1/2 by the time we made it through the traffic. Nate was able to see a friend who stuck around until we got there. On Saturday we got family pictures taken at some fun locations. I can't wait to see how they turned out. We were bummed about the open house, but we enjoyed the time we spent in Idaho.

seriously...with all the traveling your little family does I'd like to know how many miles you guys have put on your vehicles since being married. It seems like you are always off on some adventure! What a bummer with traffic though and even more frustrating to be sitting it in. Let's get together soon :}

Holy cow Lacey, you guys have been busy! That was so funny reading about your guys' trip to Houston. I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time, but I'm glad you can laugh about it now! The NASA space station looks so fun! Sorry you missed the reception, that's too bad!
