Planting a Rainbow

I've got hundreds of children's books from teaching Kindergarten. Today I pulled out the rest of my garden & summer books to read with her. This is one of Maddie's absolute favorite books. Yesterday we spent the day planting our rainbow. I love being in the yard and there is just such a sense of accomplishment. Over the last couple weeks we've planted...

  • 3 raspberry Bushes
  • rhubarb
  • carrots
  • bell peppers
  • chili peppers
  • jalapenos
  • peas
  • radishes
  • beets
  • lettuce
  • roma tomatoes
  • cherry tomatoes
  • green beans
  • squash
  • zucchini
  • cucumbers
  • eggplant
  • cantaloupe
  • pumpkin
  • a variety of flowers
  • 9 bushes
  • willow tree
and I still have to plant
  • strawberries
  • tomatillos
  • watermelon

That is quite the garden you have going! I am very impressed. I would love to plant a garden, but I have a very black thumb.
