All this week Madison has been talking about going to see Daddy. While I was packing her bag she threw in a few things that she thought were very important. In the picture below the RIGHT side of the suitcase is what I packed and the LEFT side is what Madison packed.
We actually made into San Diego tonight. Everyone is asleep and I'm still winding down from today's traveling and the stress of doing it alone. We almost missed our flight due to the construction on Redwood Road. You know those people who are running through the airport...that was me!
STORY....
I had a "Bible Basher" sitting across from me on the flight. She was attacking this younger guy about the church (she actually had her bible out looking up scriptures). He was being very polite and he finally looked at me for help and an excuse to talk to someone else. I felt so bad for him that I kept the conversation going so that the "Bible Basher" would leave him alone. So I learned a lot about Josh. His family lived in Poway where Nate's parent lived about 18 years ago. We threw out the idea that maybe my in-laws and his parents knew each other. Once I landed I called Nate and told him I was in and asked him if he knew of this family. Nate responded "Yes honey, they are the family that invited us over for dinner tomorrow night. Remember I told you on the phone last night." Okay Josh I'll be seeing you tomorrow night. Let's just say....it's a very small world.
Madison was amazing traveling today and she even slept on the short flight. Can you believe that I didn't even bring out the DVD player. It's a miracle!

I wish Adam trained some place cool so I could go visit him.
That is one cute traveler! Enjoy SD...only one of my favorite places on earth! And the place we honeymooned!
How cute that you let her pack a bit. :) She is a little diva, huh? Sounds like fun.
She is so cute! I love her packing! She got everything she needs... Well hope you had fun!
She is so cute! She packs the same way that Ella packs.
