An Apple a Day

Madison first day of Preschool was yesterday. It's got a large apple on the outside of the building...this is why she calls it the "Apple School." She's got a shy side to her and I guess she's heard me say that because she's been going around telling people, "I'm shy!" I was a little worried because she is shy, but she did fantastic at the drop off! She will attend three days a week and I feel this will be good for her because being an only child (well not for long) she really loves that social interaction. I kept looking at the clock yesterday and thinking to myself...I miss my Maddy. It's been such a joy to watch this little girl grow up!

Baby Update...Turn Baby Turn

We are on the count down with a little less than 3 weeks left and I'm officially uncomfortable! I'm a little apprehensive about the delivery...it's the unknown that gets me. The baby is still breech...so if she doesn't turn in the next two weeks they will give me an epidural and try to turn her. It's has a 60% success rate and if not they will take me in for a C-section that same day. If I go into labor on my own then I will have to have a C-section. Anyone have any experience on getting a baby to turn? Nate's been traveling a lot for work. He's been trying to get everything done before the baby gets here. We hope that when he flies home tomorrow that he's here to stay. We are all so excited to meet this new little family member and I know it will be here before we know it!

Madison looks so grown up! It feels good to actually "miss" your kid, huh! I love when my kids are in school! Myla was breech...we did hypnobirthing and my doula "demanded" her to turn. Sounds hoky, but it worked. I also looked online and found some asian accupressure method where you burn your pinky toes with some wierd sticks that smell like pot. I bought them, but luckily never had to do it. I was desperate though! Good luck!

Oh, I'm so excited for you! Maddy looks so cute. I need to hang out with her some more before she is all grown up.

School Ahhhh! They get to big to fast! We are looking into buying a place out here and I am looking at school and how good they are. That is weird for me to look at schools as a parent instead of a teacher!

You're getting so close! Madison is so big! She looks darling as always.
My mom was breach with my Brother Sam right up until delivery. My dad gave her a priesthood blessing and he turned as they were getting ready to take her for the C-section. Good Luck! How stressful.
(On another note- Angela (Roper) was breach, she didn't feel good about them trying to turn the baby, so she had a C-section and the baby's umbilical cord was really short, and could have caused problems if they had tried to force the turn.
So, my advice is to trust your instincts and get a priesthood blessing.
