Laney Janey

Everyone has nicknames and sometimes we have no idea why that name stuck. My dad used to call me Matilda and still calls me that when he wants to get a rise out of me. Nate's childhood nickname is Nanuetsker (try to pronounce that one...I dare you). Madison's is "Scooby" and again, no idea where that came from. Okay back to Delaney and her nickname. Maddy and I like to call her Laney Janey. She is also known as ,"Milk Milk" (duh it's because she drinks so much of it), "Quasimodo" (Laney has Torticollis [one short muscle in the neck] we are doing everything possible to try and stretch it. We are hoping that she won't need a helmet because one side of her head is more flat. We are only kidding when we call her that...we aren't that mean!) and finally "Pint Size" (she's short like her mama). We will see a few years what has actually stuck or what new name my husband has made up. Nate likes to makes up random songs too... "They call her Laney Jane. She's got a cowgirl name." In the most twangy cowboy voice you could possibly imagine.
