Lesson Learned

Why is it human nature that we never really change a behavior until a lesson is learned? Every week my computer reminds me...."It's Back-up Time" and every week I declined the suggestion. Thinking to myself..."If anything happens my brother is a computer genius and he will get everything off of my computer." Yes he is a genius, but I was completely wrong! My laptop crashed and when I mean crashed...4ft off of our dining room table (which is bar stool height). The cord wrapped around our dog's leg and was dragged off. Things wouldn't have been so bad, but I had just grabbed a recipe off the internet for Candied Walnuts (yummy and dangerous). Anytime a running computer falls...not good at all. So to make a long story short. The genius spent HOURS restoring my files....worst computer he has ever seen. He got all the files he could and I'm left with a few that are gone FOREVER! I am so thankful for my blog that has hundreds of photos that will never be lost, but I have started backing up my computer! Learn from me....back it up, oh back it up!
