Looking back on our trip last month makes me miss that warm California sun! Nate even said to Laney, "Sweetheart this is the sun...you've never seen it before!" Nothing like a good ole' road trip to add to the memories. We split up the trip by staying in Vegas with our great friends the Strands. Good times and lots of catching up! When we reached San Diego we went to the Wild Safari Park.

We spent three days in Disneyland...two days with family and one day with our good friends the Rosenvalls.
The last stop on our trip was Newport Beach. Darien's parents own a beautiful beach house there and invited us to come stay. It was pretty windy so we didn't spend too much time on the beach.
We did go to a nearby sports grill for lunch. As we were leaving Madison wanted to bring her Sprite with her so we asked for a disposable cup. This is what they brought us... I bet everyone who saw us walk back to the beach house wanted to give us the "Parents of the Year" award!

So this is random, but I am a blog "stalker" :) I was friends with Nate in college. Anyway, I had to comment on the beach house. My husbands grandfather lives right around the corner (33rd)! We stay there every summer, and LOVE the house you were at. Your girls are super cute and it looks like you had a fun vacation!
