Pioneer Day in Kanab is one of our favorite things to do in the summer. A cute parade followed by crafts in the park for the kids. This year they had scones, bread and make your own butter, lantern craft, pulling taffy, large bubbles and line dancing. Such a fun event they hold.
When in Kanab you need to enjoy the great outdoors. We took a quick Rhino ride up to Peekaboo. Madison found a large log and carried it the entire hike. Such a funny kid!
On our way back home we stopped in Marysvale to visit my sister who was camping there. We went riding up to Miner's Park, where there were many mining shafts, equipment and miner's homes still standing.
