The day after we got back from the cabin Grandma Laird passed away. We were able to go see her on our way to the cabin. We were suppose to leave for the cabin on Thursday, but the to-do-list was too long to accomplish. So we left for the cabin on Friday and that same day Grandma had been put in the hospital. Things do happen for a reason! So we were able to stop and say our goodbyes. Moments we will never forget and cherish. When her eyes I were better, I would print this blog for her to read. She lived a beautiful life. She was 89 when she left this world and returned to live with our Heavenly Father. Nate's brothers from D.C and Richmond were able to fly in for the funeral. It was so good to spend time although the circumstances weren't the best. One thing I learned from Grandma's passing was that, loving others is one of the most important things you do in this life...so do it well!
After the funeral, we decided to have a little fun as a family at Cornbelly's.
