I had a thought tonight...maybe it was a bit of an overwhelming thought. Nate's had a lot accounts here in Utah that have keep him busy and so he's been home more {happy family}. The last month has had him on the road again and we have missed him. I've been in survival mode and with that comes...the big word "Guilt." Tonight as I was finally putting away a tote full of items from my mom's birthday, which was in January. Yes, it's been sitting in my basement for over 9 weeks...ahhh! I am only one person and can only do so much. Sometimes I feel guilty that I didn't get to making cookies for Valentine's Day or I wanted to take the kids out for pizza on 3/16 for Pi day. Oh yes and I forgot Dr. Seuss's Birthday! Silly I know, but I put these expectations on myself. Then the thought came... it doesn't matter. None of that matters. All that matters is that I celebrate life everyday. Celebrations can be very simple as dancing in the kitchen, but yet none the less rewarding. So when you find your life overwhelming...just stop and celebrate!
