I've always been a lover of music. So walking down the streets of this city with music coming out of every building made my heart sing. This was a last minute trip to get the heck out of dodge. There's the country coming out in me. Nashville is only a few hours from my sister's house in Illinois. So I plotted with her and we threw this trip together in 10 days. It's good to be spontaneous! Our first night in Nashville we went the Opry Backstage Grill. The waiters and waitresses are also the entertainment. They get up between serving and perform. Liv was competing for the attention.
When in Nashville you must get a picture by the BOOT!
We really wanted to go the the CMA Country Christmas taping, but it was sold out. We check the box office a few days before and they had opened a few more seats. Cha Ching!!
The infamous Blue Bird Cafe! It met all expectations. These song writers were hilarious, deep and talented beyond words.
The beautiful Nashville temple in Franklin,TN.
My fabulous nieces Halee & Sydnee
Thank you Nashville.
Thanks to my amazing sister and her family too for hosting Liv and I.
