My sweet best friend Shelbie lost her father on June 13, 2016. Shelbie has always been there for me through everything since I moved to Kanab in 1995. I was happy to be able to help with their children and give the love that she has given to me. I wrote this to Shelbie on a FB post after her father passed. "I'm forever indebted to this man because twenty-one years ago he told his daughter that there would be a new girl at school. He asked her to find that girl and be her friend. I'm so grateful because she listened to her father and we became best friends. We've been through so much together and she has ALWAYS been there for me. Thank you Lex Chamberlain for always looking for those alone and in need. You're daughter is just like you...you taught her well. The stories of service, kindness, love and devotion to the gospel will be endless at your celebration of life."
