My Maria

So in just a few more days I will post a slide show of our trip to Mexico. I've just got to get the rest of the photos from my sister this week. Stay Tuned! That's right! I found her....the girl from my previous post. Maria was such a SPUNKY little girl. She was always trying hold Madison and give her kisses. Maddy is so independent now that she wasn't having it!

I adore this photo of Nate and Maddy walking on the beach.

MOVIES....

Anyone who knows me well enough knows that I am a movie freak!! I I love to escape and go to the movies. Finally, over the holiday break and with Nate having time off we've seen a few.....

If you want to pee your pants...."I AM LEGEND"

( I personally hate scary/jumpy movies, but Nate liked it)

If you want to cry your eyes out..."P.S. I Love You"

(Thanks Lindsey for making me laugh when my eyes weren't as puffy as yours!!)

If you want to make the world a better place..."The Great Debaters"

(Awesome movie....produced by Oprah)

Have you seen any great movies???

The picture of Nate and Maddy on the beach looks like a greeting card. Way cute. Thanks for the movie breakdown. I have dying to see some of those, so it's nice to hear that they are really good. I may have to forgo the P.S. I Love You for awhile. I don't know if I want to endure puffy eyes and headache right now. :P

Lacey,
Let me know for sure when you are coming, I bet Sarah would come over too! I have a HUGE playroom in my basement where we can let the kids play and we can get lunch or something. I bet Jenn would come too! Keep in touch. I don't have the internet at my house right now but I check it every few days at my moms so it might take me a while to respond.

I love the pics... and look forward to seeing the rest. I also saw a bunch of movies over the holidays... I Am Legand... great show... not the scariest I've ever seen, but tense the entire time. August Rush... Loved it. Kinda a different show, but definately worth seeing! And National Treasure 2... great show. I still like the first better, but this was still worth seeing. They even set it up to make a third. I miss you!

Hi, This is Cricket...Brittany's step-mom. I love all the cute stuff you do on your blog so I check it from time to time. You really need to develope that picture on the beach, she will treasure it when she is older. It is beautiful. Brittany's dad and I are also big movie buffs. National Treasure 2 was great!

Hope you don't mind me peeking in :)

I saw the Chipmunks with Kali over the break while the older kids/adults saw Nation Treasure. The little kids liked the Chipmuncks and I was wishin' I was in National Treasure. Maddie will probably like Chipmunks in a couple years and it has a cute message too. We saw I am Legend- and Jimmy was more scared than me. I liked it but wish it would have ended different. You need to get that pic of Maddie and Nate blown up- it would also make a great gift for Linda and John in a cute frame!

Lacey...you are right "I am Legend" DOES make you pee your pants!! I liked it but I hated the ending. It was the first "grown-up" movie I think I've seen since...oh...Cydnee was born!! I want to see lots of others, including PS I Love You, National Treasure 2, and Martian Child, but I usually have to wait until they come out on video!

I can't wait to see the rest of your Mexico pictures. The ones you already have up just show how happy you made those kids and looks like you had a little bit of fun yourselves. The beach picture is like one you'd see in a magazine! I haven't seen any good movies in a LONG time, even when we go to rent movies, nothing even looks good anymore...it's like there are new movies but they look like repeats of movies we've already seen. I don't get out to the movies much though unless it's a kids one and then I try to take my kids on a 'date'. Some of the ones you mentioned though are ones I want to see...as soon as they come out on video!
