I've never been to a speed skating event......until last night! The Barney family invited us to the Speed Skating World Cup Finals at the 2002 Olympic Oval. The kids chased the Olympic Mascots during the breaks. At the end of the event they had a puck toss and our friends won the refrigerator!

That is awesome! We actually got to see him make a world record at the Olympics...too bad a guy right after him beat it by .009 of a second:( But it was still fun and he is amazing!
