Nate is gone for a couple weeks (Boston, St. George & Denver). One week down and one to go. I've decided that the hardest job in the WORLD is a single mother. It's all those little things that Nate does that gives me my sanity. I had planned a babysitter for two nights of last week, but when I got sick I didn't want to do anything. Here's to a better week! We miss you Daddy!
I decided to rent a few movies that I knew Nate wouldn't watch with me. I rented High School Musical I & II... along with a few other chick flicks. I have the hardest time watching movies at home because I get so distracted. I end up half way through the show with no idea what's going on. Well, that's unless it's a VERY intriguing show. So let's just say that I still haven't really watched either of those movies all the way through. On the other hand, Madison was crazy about them. I'm not quite sure if she learned her new dancing moves from Daddy, HS Musical or Backyardigans.

She's got such cute moves! I hear ya on the single mom thing--I hate it when Chad's not around.
Aaron is only gone for maybe 3 weeks a year, but those are the worst weeks. I don't know how single moms do it. I love Maddy's little dance. So cute!
I could not stop smiling! Her moves are awesome. Her and Rylee seem a lot a like. They would have a blast together! I don't know how single mom's do it either! Hubby's are so wonderful.
She can shake and move! It is cute when she dances!
How are you surviving? I am a baby when Bryan is gone for 1 night.
So, I loved the video of Maddy dancing. She is a little "star!" The best part, though, was Koda. I kept thinking he was going to get up and dance with her. Classic!
Call me if you ever need a break and want to go to lunch. We should be out of here, hopefully, but the end of the week.

You told me about her little dance, but it was cuter than I even thought! That was fun to watch! I know after all the times I've been away from Jason I have a totally new found respect for single mothers. Seriously! It's doing the 'impossible'!
Watch out- she's got some moves. Well, it's 4pm on thursday, and I'm thinking that I could be at the tree house with you right now- and it is definately a day for inside play. Sorry it didn't happen. I will call you and let you know when I am going home. Maybe we can meet up on my way thru. Go to the craft store, and pick up a project or two... put maddy to bed, and you have a few hours to yourself at night. Thats what I usually do- that or come up here... and go shopping! Anyways, hang in there. A happy husband liking what he does is worth some sacrifice on your behalf. I learned that when we worked at the mortuary!
Maddy's dancing is so cute! I'm glad you got some video of it. I hate it when Vern's gone. I sometimes get annoyed at him when he is home and I don't think he's doing enough to help me. But then when he has to work a lot I realize that he really is a lot of help. I hope this next week is better for ya!
So cute! Don't you just love watching what they come up with? I understand the single mother stuff! Mike was sick all last week. He had influenza A and did not move from bed for a week! Eventhough he was here, he really wasn't! It was really hard! It made me feel so grateful to have him! I guess we need these times to remind us how blessed we are! Hang in there!
Maddie is so stinkin' cute and those moves are amazing. I was so sorry to hear that she got RSV. Good thing Nate wasn't out of town during that episode. I also agree with you about the single mother thing. I have a hard enough time when Grant is out of town that I can't imagine how hard it would be without him period. Good luck with the rest of the week he is gone.

I just have to tell you I think Jack has a crush on your little girl...or he is just mesmerized by he awesome dance moves...or maybe it is b/c of the dog, but whatever it is, he has made me play this video over and over.
How cute your family is!! Nate you are fired for not telling me you had a little one!! And how funny that we both have a Maddy (ours with different spelling), and yours is darling! Lacey, sad that we have never met...I would have come to your wedding reception, but somebody forgot to invite me...but I am sure we would be great friends!

I am glad Madison is better and I totally agree with you about the IV and epidural. Epidural is much less painful. In fact, I told the nurse that exact same thing after I got the penicillin.
LOVE IT! That is too cute. Sadly, I have watched both HSM movies so many times that I have the entire movies AND the dance moves memorized.
So I hope you guys come to the 80's dance on Sat. I'll watch Nate's dance moves and let you know if that's where Maddie got them. My guess is yes but we'll see. It'll be nice to go to an activity and just have FUN!
Wow that was pretty funny. Did I see a hip thrust in there?? So do let me know when you are in Vegas. It'll be fun times. So does Nate know anything about lazer hair removal?? I want it so bad and need the inside scoop.
