Our family did not fall off the face of the earth!
We just finally took a break from the rat race and welcomed...
The Life of Simplicity
Before winter returned, we spent time in the yard.
Madison decided that naps weren't such a bad thing.
I even took a few myself, which is unheard of.
While the girls played, my sister and I spent a day working on
some fun sewing projects and making hair clips for the girls.
We started our Sunday walks again, even though we are
Thanks to Aunt Nicole who started the crazy galloping horsey rides around the house. The best part is when Nate's galloping out of the room and Maddy turns her body and waves goodbye as she is laughing hysterically .I normally enjoy being busy, but I found no greater joy than in SIMPLE LIFE.

I am glad you are alive!
I love going on Sunday walks. I think this Sunday will actually be nice, so we can go out. I'm glad you've had some time to relax.
amen sista! we'll have to start coordinating our sunday walks together.
Awwww, I'm glad you took some time to smell the roses! That picture of Madi in your backyard gives me MAJOR spring fever!
That sounds wonderful! I am glad you had the time to enjoy life right! That's how it should be!
simple is good...you need down time like that. I feel like I could use that right now...I am always running around, sewing, playing, blogging...etc. Hey date night moved to tomorrow if you guys still want to come!
It is always nice to just have a week to do the little things! Your family is so cute. It was good to see you at Mandie's shower. You are such a cute mom!
Glad to hear you've recovered from the crazy month! I've been watching Kara's little Anna this week (she's a little younger than Maddie) so next week I'll be taking it easy (hopefully). The kids are out for Spring Break next week and Jimmy's ready to take the boat out. We'll keep you posted!
I think a mom's sanity depends on some down time...it's completely vital to survival! Glad you've had some! I'm looking forward to some of that this next week for spring break! See ya Friday!
I love the new post and pics! Madison is such a cutie! Ava has the same little long sleeved roxy shirt and it is my total favorite! I was wondering if you might be able to tell me (if it's easy) how you were able to set up the screen about going private with a link to yournew blog address. We are going to go private due to some pretty crazy adresses coming up on our site meter. I would be so thankful if you could leave me a comment on our blog about how I might be able to do it the way you did. Thanks so much!
I'm glad you decided to add us to the list of blogs. I lost yours in a freak accident of changing layouts, but I got it back, so yeah, and just in time to see a new post, too. Things are crazy as always, but that comes with the territory. I hope to see you soon.
Michelle
The simple life is good! With a two year old and a brand new baby, this is what my life will HAVE to become! I am excited about it! Maddie is a doll!
Welcome back!!! I always love when you have a new post. I love your new background. Oh and by the way...I figured out the ONE place you need to type in the code for your font so you don't have to type it in, in a million unnecessary places.
How fun! Some of the best times are when we relax and enjoy the little every day things.
I totally LOVE Maddy's little Roxy shirt. Where did you find that? What I love even more is the fact that she is asleep in that position....what a little character.
I just wanted to tell you "THANK YOU" again for today. That was a much needed pedicure. You are the BEST! Have a great day!
What a cute posting... the simple life couldn't get much sweeter... after all... "it's the simple things in life that matter most." I miss you... I'm still waiting a call from you to tell me that you are headed here for another "business trip." I hope sooner than later. Call me when you get a free minute!
your page is soo stinkin cute!!! And your daughter, I love her smile, its contagous. I'm new to this blog stuff and I barely figured out how to get a background, if you have any tips on making it easier I'd sure appreciate them
