My Booger Nosed Kid

Before I had Madison I always told myself..."My child will NEVER have a booger nose." Ha Ha Ha! It's been three months of a nonstop snot. I try my best, but they seem to appear just as soon as I get rid of them. Sunday was Madison's first time to Nursery! She only spent 20 minutes because she fell asleep on her teacher. That night she began throwing up and had a high fever. Welcome to nursery! We both went to the doctor today and we should be feeling better by the weekend.

On Saturday I went to lunch with my friend Marcae while Nate and Maddy had some quality daddy daughter time. The picture quality isn't that great, but they made me laugh. Notice the capris with socks and sandals. Not to mention the mullet!

Daddy-daughter days are so important! You are good though, I always have to do Rylee's hair and set her clothes out before I leave, especially if they are going to be out in public. Maddy is so cute! Congrats on being able to enjoy Relief Society again!

Ugh ohh, Sophie hasn't gotten sick yet from nursery on Sunday but hopefully this will skip over her this time. (it usually doesn't though) I know what you mean though about the bugger nose. It's so hard to keep on top of it! Isn't it so funny, all the things we swear we won't do when we have kids. Just wait until you get a couple more! I think I've eaten about every thing I've said! Hope you two get felling better! BTW- cute pictures, Nate!

Little M has the cutest grin. And don't worry, Nate is not the only dad that can't make his child presentable. I have been absolutely HORRIFIED more than once at how my kids have looked in public when Brian was in charge. oh well -what's important is she had a great time with her daddy!

Dads always put kids in the funniest things. Jeff will put Benson in something and I'll be like...um, do I ever put him in that? But I really love it when I get to have a break---so it's okay. I'm sorry you guys were sick.

Don't we just LOVE nursery.....really love nursery? I'm even willing to put up with sick kids, if it means I get a few hours of peace. Life has been crazy on our end of things, so I had fun catching up on everything you've been up to. I'm glad you have just been enjoying a nice simple life - the sun is finally shining, and it feels great. Hope you are doing great.

HI! So I bought Maddy some little hair ties months ago and they are still sitting in the kitchen. I know you couldn't find them up there so I made it my mission to find you some. I'll try to get them up to you sooner than later, hahah! So how are you sister? When will you be in LV? Ella got super sick this week and was admitted to the hospital for 3 days. She would not eat, drink, talk or move for days. She's doing better now. Andrew gave her a blessing and things really started to get better. She has a check up tomorrow. Love you :) Jen

So I guess that a none snotty nose wish for my little peanut is out of the question. But I least you take care of it instead of those kids that have it all crusted on and it has been there for days. She is fun kid!!

Tell Nate he needs a little work on the girl-getting-ready thing. But don't ask Jake for advice!

Hi Lacey,

I don't know if you remember me or not, but this is Melanie, Jenn Fager's little sister. I was just reading through your blog and found the little entry on Kate. My neighbor upstairs was/is her aunt. Her name is Amy Rosenvall, she married Andrew. Are you related to them somehow? I love making connections - I will have to ask them at church tomorrow. It looks like you are doing fantastic by the way; adorable little family! I have a blog as well, its www.melanieanddavid.blogspot.com (this might help you remember who I am??)

Me and Whit were the nursery leaders in our ward and I swear each and every week we came home with a different virus/bug. You gotta love it!
