Basghetti Spaghetti

So we have had spaghetti many times before, but Madison acted like it was candy. She was shoving in her mouth in fist fulls. She ate more than I did and then she started licking the plate. You would have thought that we hadn't fed her in months!! I've got hundreds on children's books, but I believe that I might be buying a book about Spaghetti.

My boys love spaghetti too. When McKade was younger he loved it so much that I had to buy a book too. We have "On Top of Spaghetti" which he always loves. It is supposed to have a button that you push and it will play the song. The button never did work and I thought the batteries had died. But I think the book is possessed because every once in a while I can hear on top of spaghetti playing in McKades room and no-one is in there...creepy! But McKade has the song memorized and the pop ups torn apart, and still loves it. I didn't realize there were all those other books out there about spaghetti. I will have to look for those.

I love the book "More Spaghetti I say". It is so cute with the monkeys and it also rhymes which I think it always place for little ones. I love, love, love that book and I love, love, love the pictures of Mdison with all her spaghetti! I bet that was fun to clean up!

What a little Nut! The first picture was like ..."what?..." The second is one I am all too familiar with... Maliya pulls that one on me. The third is the machivieous " ha... look at the mess I made...glad its you and not me having to clean it up." Love it!

Try Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs by Judi Barrett. One of my personal favorites... I love the illustrations.
