The weather was so perfect today that we decided to get out and enjoy it. With Nate being away last week we needed some family time. I've heard so much about Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Gardens, so I had to go see it for myself. Nate thought that it was just a bunch of flower beds, but he was surprised that they had one of the largest man made waterfalls. We taught Madison that not only are the flowers beautiful, but that they smell so good. She would bend down give a loud sniff and then a big "ahhhhh." We just died laughing. She also thought that flowers liked to be stomped on, we actually unintentionally caught her in the act. It was a fun family outing and only 10 minutes away. Oh, what a beautiful day!

Love your pictures! You do such fun things! That's another thing we need to copy you on and go do.
Maddie is at such a fun age!
I love all the pictures. That place looks so pretty. Madison is such a cutie. I especially love the ones of her stomping on the flowers and the one with her shorts down! How funny!
Cute pictures....the flowers are gorgeous! It looks like a neat place to visit.
I have heard a lot about the tulip festival too. It looks beautiful and it looks like you guys had fun!
I love the pics! Maddison is a doll!
What beautiful pictures. I've got to go there.
So this is a stinkin cute post. The pictures are so green, pretty, and springy... I love the last picture of Maddy with her back to the camera looking in a stream?... very picturesque... the only thing is that Nate needs to take over the camera more, so you can be in more pictures... you look like you have lost more weight... really... you look great! Looks like fun... As for Monday... I don't know if that will work. Dax is in school until noon, and than it's my nieces bday party that day... Do you have any other days? I'm leaving to fly up north on thursday. Have you heard anything about Stephenie Meyers new book? Don't know if I'm up for alien invasions... but I loved her other books... I might be surprised... but I haven't gotten it yet.
I'm SOLD! I need to make a trip to the gardens. It's crazy that I live so close and I have never gone. It's going on my "to do" list for sure. The pictures turned out darling! I'm sure Maddy had a ball!
Have fun in Kanab!

How pretty! Maddison's hair is getting long! So cute!
When we went there for the first time, I was pretty amazed that such a beautiful place existed in the desert. You should also try the children's garden, your little girl would enjoy it, she's a cutie.
Love the pics too! Especially the shorts-around-the-ankles shot! he he he! Sorry I won't see you on Friday!
