On the Mend
Our sick little Madison just kept getting worse while we were in Kanab. For three days her fever and stomach flu symptoms never went away. On Thursday she wasn't doing very well and just seemed so lethargic. When I got her from her nap she felt extremely warm.....105. She couldn't bare to be touched because she was in so much pain. We took her to the ER and after testing and prodding they found that she a UTI that turned into a kidney infection. She's doing much better now, but she's still very weak. We are so glad to be home. The picture below is Maddy being such a trooper at Grandma's house. Thanks to my amazing parents who help me through all of this!

Poor thing and poor you! It's the worst to watch your kids so sick and not be able to help them. Glad she is starting to feel better. See ya Wed.
I am glad she is doing better. She has been sick so much lately, you need a break from it.
Was that just scary? I worry now so much about Cairo and that would scare me to death. I am glad that she is feeling better! I hope soon she is back to herself!!

I'm sorry Maddy has been sick... there is nothing more stressful than a sick child. Glad she is on the mend though. I am not sure when I will be up again. I have a wedding at the first of June, and I have girls camp on the 17th of June. You will have to let me know when Nate is heading south again for work. We'll figure something out. Enjoy reading... I wish book 4 was already out. I just need to space it out so I will have something to read longer than 2-3 days.
Oh poor sweet Madi. Wow---105. That is really high. Benson had a temp of 103 and he was burning up. I bet she was just so miserable. I hope she gets all better soon.

I feel for ya Lacey. Trey has been sick for 4 days and it's horrible! He doesn't have anything that major, just a NASTY cold, but he feels miserable and so he just cries and fusses all the time...no matter what I try. I'm torn between feeling extremely frustrated and just so so sad for him. Glad Maddy's starting to feel better!

Wow 105 and a kidney infection...poor little girl and if I feel bad for you as the mom as well. I am glad you had your parents. I hope she is feeling better. Let me know if I can help at all from Vegas.

What a scary thing to go through. I'm glad they figured out what was wrong becuase that is a hard thing to diagnose in a baby! Poor Maddy and poor you! You deserve a break to Vernal...haha!

I am so glad that everything turned out okay. I am sure a 105 fever scared you to death. Maddy looks all warm and cuddly in that picture. And she is smiling despite feeling yucky . . . what a trooper!

105!! That is crazy. Poor little girl. UTI's are the absolute worst. I feel so bad for her. She is such a little trooper though!
Poor Maddy! A very cute picture of her though, especially for being so sick. I am glad to hear that she is on the mend. We wish her a full and speedy recovery! You could use a good break too.
So I just saw the get together pictures on Marcae's site, and it made me sad that i wasn't there. Lucky for me, I have you...otherwise, I'd never hear about anything. I hope you told the other girls what I told you to tell them. Anyways... anything new to report from them?
