Viva Las Vegas

Nate goes to Vegas all the time for work, but most of the time I choose not to go. I went this time and had such a great time that I'm already planning the next trip. I'm so lucky to have such great friends...Jen, Kaydee and Lynsie who live there. They were such great entertainers that all I've done is SLEEP since I've gotten home!

I met up with Kaydee and Jen after walking nearly 2 miles because I parked in the WRONG place. We got a quick bite to eat at a Mandalay Bay cafe. We got asked several times,"How many people are in your party?" I had to keep repeating myself, "3 adults and 3 children." It was as if they had never seen three kids in the same party. Even after we were seated the waiter asked us. Then slowly everyone who was sitting near us disappeared. I'm not in Utah anymore! I was ready for the Aquarium and Madison loved this place. She wanted to touch all the fish, turtles, and sharks.

We went swimming everyday at the Belliago and I don't think I'll ever stay there again. Well at least not with a child. Nate was hushing her at the pool one day because she was screaming with excitement. This pool was not for splashing, screaming, or in other words...NOT 4 KIDS!

I decided to brave the heat...110 and walk just a couple of blocks to the M&M Store. A lady who passed me said, "You baby is burning." Not likely. She's got SPF 50 on and we've been outside 2 minutes. I've ran into some very interesting people this trip. By the time we got there Maddy was out. She loves M&Ms so much that we had to hide them in our hotel room. I wish someone would have hid them from me!

Speaking of the interesting people I have met in Vegas. Soon after Nate and I got to the concert I bent over to make sure we were in the right seats. I felt a slap on my behind....thinking it was Nate I didn't say anything and just sat down. Nate had a big grin on his face and I said, "Oh yeah Thanks!" He proceeded to tell me that it wasn't him, but the Latino ladies behind us. They were just laughing and drowning themselves in beer. Thanks girls for the unwanted booty slap! I 'm a fan, but not a "SUPER FAN"... I mean Stalker Fan. The lady sitting to the right of me was. That was her 4th Tim concert this tour. I think I've been to 4 Tim concerts total. She went to the Phoenix concert the night before...PSYCHO! She going to be emailing me some of her stalker pictures Wahoo! We had a great time at the concert.
Jason Aldean opened for Tim. I didn't know he existed until tonight. Thanks Jen & Andrew for going with us!

fun! Don't you know you don't bring kids to the strip? People just don't understand down there. Glad you had some fun and R & R. Now lets get together. Swimming, lunch, park. Whatever!

Vegas is a fun, but interesting place. People are weird. I can't believe that lady slapped your butt. I don't know how I would react to that.

There are a lot of fun things to do in Vegas. I must admit I have never tried to do anything with a kid. I was single when I lived there. But I'm sure there is still a lot to do!

What a fun Vegas trip! Great pictures. The M&M factory is one of my favorite places to go too. I haven't taken Rylee yet. If I did, I am quite sure I'd have to buy most the shop!

We had such a blast w/ you guys! Can't wait for you guys to visit again. I'll have to take you to my parent's pool and the YMCA pool, you'll have a ton of fun. We'll have to hit the outlets too! Ella have a kickin' tan! We go to the pool daily. Will you be in Southern UT for the 4th of July? We'll be up there...in Pondersoa. When will you be here again? We had great time w/ you guys!

That is pretty funny about the booty slap. I guess it was a good thing it wasn't some drunk men instead?! I have heard a lot of people heading to the M&M store lately. We might have to go check it out sometime!

We loved the M&M Factory! It's so colorful! Did you take your kids to the 3D movie? I have definitely noticed that Vegas is NOT a kid-and-family-friendly place!

So that's where you've been! I was starting to wonder if you were already in Cali! Sounds like a fun trip though. Vegas definitely has some of the craziest people I've ever run into! There's no place like Utah!!!

I love the pic of you and Nate at Timmy's concert... so cute! Looks like you wore Maddy right out. Thanks again for stopping! It is always good to see you. Sorry I was a dud... a week at girls camp will do that to a girl... wait... am I really 27? I still think I'm young... perhaps that is why I got so tired.

What a fun trip! The only thing you are missing is me, haha. Next time. I'm glad to see some pictures of TIm. Did you see that video of him pulling some guy out of the audience and kicking him out at a recent concert?
