I feel so blessed to live in this amazing country. My heart goes out to all those families who have loved ones fighting for freedom. We spent the 4th of July weekend in Idaho with the Lairds. The 4th started out with a neighborhood breakfast and the parade. Madison was being a stinker and didn't want her hair done. So that explains the stringy hair! Uncle Eric was on the Single's Ward float as a solider. Twelve of Nicole's friends from Utah State made their way onto every possible float.
A family friend invited us over for a BBQ . They had a jumping house. They also had a scavenger hunt using their collector vehicles. Nate didn't have a problem driving a Viper. Madison loved this car that was by the jumping house.

What a fun 4th of July. Those were some really good floats in the parade. Maddy looks so cute. I love her outfit. All those collector cars sound fun- any hubby's dream, right?
It looks like you guys had a fun holiday. We really need to get the kids together. It is sad that we live so close, and yet we never see you eachother!
I just love the 4th of July too! I was just in Idaho-it is really pretty up there. Looks like it was a great time. Your little Madison is SO cute-it is so fun to look at your blog and see her little personality-you are a great Mom!
We were in Idaho Falls for the 4th too. Isn't Idaho the best place to spend the 4th? They have the best fireworks at the river! Go Idaho!
You gotta love parades, especially small town parades. I think Maddy's hair looks darling...she's quite the independent girl. She looks so cute in her patriotic outfit. Glad you guys had a good holiday.

How fun! Looks like a great parade that you went to. Here in Cedar, it's mostly four wheelers, cars, and candy... not very mant floats. I love BBQs... that is what I think of in the winter, when I'm wishing for summer... that and healthy kids :-)
