USU vs BYU

Once a year we head up to Utah State to let Nate reminisce of the good ole' college days. We met the Laird family at the game and then they came back to spend Conference weekend with us. It was great timing because I felt completely burned out from my little miss whiny & tantrum girl. I don't know what her deal has been, but she only whines to me. She will be completely content and then I walk in the room and it hits. She's also started these tantrums where she screams for a good 1/2 hour and no one can console her. I am learning to be positive even though I want to shove my head into a pillow and scream. Thanks to Grandma, Grandpa and Colie for the break that I needed.

we are having similar issues with max right now. Most of the time I just walk away during one of his fits which usually leaves him lying face down in our drive way crying. i'm sure all my neighbors think i'm such a steller mom.

Looks like you picked a good man. Anyone who cheers against BYU is alright in my book!

I totally hear ya on the tantrum thing. Our Jori is going through the same phase (I pray it's a phase). Cute picture of the family. Take care Lace.

Go Aggies!! I so wish I could have been at that game. Even though they lost, it was still a good game . . . well the last quarter anyway.

Tantrums...fun times. I currently don't have a child in that age group or phase, but I'm sure Trey will be joining before I know it (and way before I'm ready!) but I babysit my little neice who is 2 and she can throw a good one every now and then. I've found that if I try to talk her out of it, it just gets worse, but if I walk away from her she's over it in like 30 seconds! Good luck with that! Sure makes ya want to have another one, doesn't it?;)

2 year olds are so much fun! Sometimes I feel like I have bi-polar; I go from laughing my head off to screaming my head off and then right back to laughing again! I love what they come up with! Hang in there!

I think the whining is an attachment thing to moms. My nephew does it and taylor even whines a little around me...but is fine along with everyone else. We spend all day with them so they get emotional around us.

Go aggies...I went there for a year and only went to 1 game. Horrible I know.

Busy, busy, busy... no wonder I haven't heard from you in awhile. Glad you are having fun. I can smile and say... I know exactly what you are talking about with a little drama queen. I am so looking forward to our room mate weekend. Should be a blast and a lot of laughs! Are you driving? Wanna stop and pick me up on the way down? We'll chat before than I'm sure.

She is absolutely adorable...and I promise you'll look back and laugh at the tantrums. It's not so cute when your 18 year old son still throws tantrums though.!
It was fun seeing you guys at the blessing. McKenna usually just likes to play by herself, but she really enjoyed playing with Maddy. Nate was sure a trooper too.
That is awesome that you guys walked for PKD.!
Always good to see you all.!

Why are girls so emotional! -It always bothers me how we're the meanest to the ones we love most. So think about it that way, she loves you the most!! That last pic with Grandma is adorable.
What a fun hike at Timp, I haven't been up there forever.

Lacey I know how you feel about the tantrums. Anna has been throwing fits lately too. She doesn't scream but I will try to talk to her and she will yell "Don't talk to me" Or mean things like that. So it could be worse! When will Madison be two?

Yay for the good ole days at USU! Madison is so cute...too bad she is being so sassy these days! Isn't she a little young to be a drama queen? I know I'm going to be in for it...my 8 month old already has an attitude! Lacey if you do end up coming out here I would love to get together! For sure let me know!

Good to hear!!!! I am glad I am not the only one. I thought I was doing something wrong! Seriously, he is hitting me now! Where did he get that? And throws himself on the floor all the time. Relentless screaming as well. I feel like I should be controlling it somehow, but maybe all we can do is wait it out. Also, he is SO MUCH more mean to me, like you said. I don't get it.
