Signs of Winter

I am NOT ready for winter, but I guess there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. So why complain about it? We made the best of the situation and built a Snow Family!

Wow! You guys got a lot of snow! We got a tiny bit last weekend, and my kids wanted to go out and build snowmen, but I just laughed because there was hardly any snow at all. Bretten has been telling me for the last month (because it's been colder outside) that I need to buy some big carrots so we can make snowmen...lol! Anyways- looks like you had fun!

I can't believe you guys get snow! living in st george for 8 1/2 years, we dont get much so I miss it! Madison looks so cute in her costume. I think you are one of the most motivated people I know, you are always doing fun stuff and going fun places, plus you post new blogs all the time, I can't keep up with you! I'm glad you have tons of fun though and it looks like halloween was a great time! Love all the costumes!

I can't believe you guys got that much snow... how depressing! I absolutely love the snow, but it seems like it just melted from last year. Where did fall go?

Here are my Potty Training Tips: let her do it when she is ready or you will be the one that is trained. I refused to have to ask Kenedy every 30 mintutes if she needed to go to the bathroom for the next several months. I tried forever ago with Kenedy and some days she would do and some days she didn't want to. So I gave up and I would just ask her, do you want to wear panties today or a diaper? And then the last three weeks she just wanted to wear panties and she asks to go to the bathroom where ever we are. I don't have any other wonderful tips besides that. I did make a potty chart that she got prizes for and I bought some books about the potty. We tried the timer, the potty watch and the Elmo Potty movie, but seriously I don't think any of that worked. I just think she wanted to do it. I have to say, I hate Potty Training. You will have to let me know what works for Mads! My friend did the naked potty training way and her little girl was potty trained in a week. I tried that and Kenedy just peed on the floor. I think every kid responds different. Kenedy is soooo strong willed that I think when I gave up and didn't really want to do it, is when she decided she wanted to. Good Luck! Keep us posted!

I hate winter...there I said it.

Thanks for the offer to come kick it at your place on Saturday. I'm pretty sure we will just head back home, but we appreciate the offer and concern. It's nice to know someone up there in case something happened and we needed help. Thanks again. Cute pictures of your fam.

Snow!! I wish I had some. I am really sad that I don't get any this year. It doesn't really feel like winter here. Or like the holidays are coming. I feel like it is still Aug or Sept. How fun!
