This & That

The past few weeks we have been here and there, but the greatest feeling is being home together.

WE...
  • Took another road trip to Southern Utah. Madison and I went to stay with my parents for 7 days while Nate continued on to Vegas for work.

  • Went to my cousin Brittney's wedding.

  • Took Madison to Madagascar II. This was her first experience at a theater and she couldn't stop giggling.

  • Great Grandma & Grandpa H. took Madison on a Rhino ride in the cow fields. She loved this!

  • My sister and I had set up Shoppe at Tom & Lucy's Boutique in Lehi. We have been really busy and I actually made my first nursing cover. My sister's sewing skills are way beyond mine, so she normally makes those. Our business is still an intriguing adventure. Go to our blog here to enter to win a free set of burp cloths. Just leave a comment on the the {giveaway} post of what you are grateful for and why. A winner will be notified on Thanksgiving Day!

  • Yes I went to "Twilight." My buddy Kara has the best hookups and we went to the 8:00PM showing on Thursday. I really didn't have high expectations, so I liked it. Yes it was a low budget and many things were cheesy, but all in all it was entertaining.

We are excited for Thanksgiving and we will be heading back down south for the holiday weekend. I have been thinking about what I am truly grateful for as Thanksgiving approaches.

  1. thoughtful husband

  2. silly daughter

  3. cozy home

  4. cuddly dog

  5. gospel testimony

  6. enduring parents

  7. unforgettable friends

  8. dependable family

  9. knowing prophet

  10. everchanging seasons

  11. beaming sunlight

  12. scrumptious food

  13. innovative technology

  14. running legs

  15. loving savior

  16. endless hobbies

  17. captivating books

  18. healthy body

  19. meaningful meditation

  20. inspired service

I've been wondering what you have been up to. You were down here for a whole week... and I didn't even get a call... I'm offended. I'll let you make it up to me somehow. I loved this blog... it's a great reminder of all we have to be thankful for... Thanks... I'm grateful for a good friend like you!

We are heading to Kanab on Wednesday night and staying through out the weekend so you should give me a call. I'm big and fat, but I think I should be a little more lively than the last time I saw you.

Ya know it's funny, I keep going down in the basement to look at the wondrous sight that it is. I'm looking forward to the next step, which is the electrical. It makes me excited just to think about it. As for Twilight I liked it a lot. I agree there were definitely things that were cheesy about it, but overall it was great.

How fun, I bet your little one loves staying at your parents house. I am glad you got to go to Twilight and you enjoyed it. I am so sad but I wont be going to Kanab this year for Thanksgiving! I wish I was now, since everyone else will be there. We always go to Kanab the week after Christmas and stay threw the new year, so if your going to be down around then let me know ok

I have a small inventory but I'm actually having an open house at my sisters house on Wednesday in Herriman if you want to come! I will send you the info. Or you can just tell me what you want and I'll put it in for you. You can go to my website if you want it's linked on my blog. Happy Thanksgiving!
