Fall in Kanab

Our trips home to Kanab have sadly become less frequent. With Nate's travel schedule for work it makes it a little more difficult. I love the slow paced life there. Oh the stars...there is nothing like the stars in Kanab. The last couple times I have gone by myself and taken all the kids. Sometimes they're good in the car and other times I ask myself what I could have possibly been thinking. This trip was insane! The 4 hour drive took me SEVEN hours. No joke! Between bathrooms stops, feeding baby, fast food, two lane highway, and almost hitting 30 trillion deer, we finally made it! I learned my lesson and was determined to shorten my time. On the way home I left just before nap time, pack snacks and only allowed Madison a small drink the whole trip. My trip time was awesome making it home in just FOUR hours!

Some of the fun highlights from this trip were the splash pad at the park, climbing Grandpa's tree, and visiting loved ones at the cemetery. Oh and of course...seeing silly Grandma and Grandpa!
