Our Dog

 

While we were in Kanab and Nate in California, we boarded Koda at our usual spot. When Nate picked him up he had shortness of breath and just didn't seem like himself. I have a love/hate relationship with this dog. I feel exactly like the movie "Marley and Me". When Nate and I didn't have any kids, Koda was our baby. Now he wakes up the baby when he barks and can really get on my nerves.  There are times I'm grateful to have him, like when Nate's gone for the night. I feel much more safe to know that he will bark to warn me. The kids love him and he is so good with them. They ride him like a pony and dress him up all the time. This really made me realized how much he is loved by our children. He was sick for just a couple of days.  After a couple visits to the Vet, he pulled out of it and is doing just fine.  I guess I'll endure the annoyances for my children's sake!
